Terms of Use
The deal between you and KlaritiQ when you use the website or the platform. Short, and in the order you are likely to care about.
Applies to klaritiq.in and the KlaritiQ platform
- You own what you put in and the reports that come out. We own the method, the rules and the software.
- KlaritiQ is a diagnostic and a workspace. It is not legal, financial or regulatory advice, and it does not replace your compliance function.
- Don't break it, don't scrape it, don't upload data you have no right to share, and keep your login to yourself.
- We are pre-launch: features change, and some are labelled as coming. You can export and delete your data at any time.
- Indian law applies; disputes go to the courts in Hyderabad.
1. Who is agreeing with whom
"KlaritiQ", "we" and "us" mean the founders operating klaritiq.in, and, once it is registered, the company they are incorporating to own it. These terms will pass to that company automatically and you will be told when that happens. "You" means the person using the service and, if you are using it for an organisation, that organisation as well: by creating or joining an organisation you confirm you are allowed to bind it.
Using the site, taking an assessment or creating an account means you accept these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What the service is
KlaritiQ is a compliance and audit management platform. Today it does four things: assesses an organisation's AI governance against a rule set built for its sector (non-bank lending, manufacturing, and diagnostics today, with a data-protection case for DPDP obligations), writes that up as a report with scores and a roadmap, lets an organisation track initiatives, risks, decisions and evidence over time, and answers governance questions in a Command Center. Some capabilities described on marketing pages are still being built; the product tells you where a feature is a preview.
3. Your account and your organisation
| You agree to | In practice |
|---|---|
| Give accurate details | A real name and a work email you control. We may suspend accounts that impersonate someone. |
| Keep your login private | One person per account. Tell us at once if you think it has been used by someone else. |
| Take responsibility for your organisation | Owners and admins decide who joins, what is uploaded and what is deleted. We act on those decisions; we don't second-guess them. |
| Have the right to share what you upload | Especially where a document or a record names people: you are confirming your organisation is allowed to process their data in KlaritiQ. See Data processing terms. |
You must be 18 or over to use KlaritiQ.
4. Acceptable use
Use KlaritiQ for assessing and governing your own organisation's use of AI, or that of an organisation that has engaged you to do so. Don't attempt to break in, overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without telling us first, scrape it, resell access, reverse-engineer the rule sets, use it to build a competing product, or upload anything unlawful, malicious, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may suspend or close accounts that do; where we can, we will warn first.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at hello@getklaritiq.com before anyone else. We won't take action against good-faith research that respects other users' data.
5. Who owns what
| Thing | Owner | What the other side may do |
|---|---|---|
| Your inputs: answers, documents, records, chat questions | You | We process them only to run the service for you, as the Privacy Notice describes, and to produce aggregate statistics that identify nobody. |
| Your reports and roadmaps | You | Use them however you like, including sharing them. We keep a copy while your account exists so you can return to it. |
| The method: questions, variables, rule sets, scoring, regulatory mappings, content packs, software and design | KlaritiQ | You may use it through the service. You may not copy it, extract it, or build from it. |
| Aggregate benchmarks | KlaritiQ | Computed from many organisations' scores with a minimum group size; they never expose any single organisation. |
| Feedback you give us | Shared | You keep any rights you have; we may use suggestions without owing you anything. |
6. AI-generated content
Parts of every report and every Command Center answer are written by an AI model from your data. How AI is used explains exactly which parts. AI text can be wrong, incomplete or out of date even when it reads confidently, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. Scores are computed by fixed rules, not by the model, and where the model proposes a fact from a document, a person in your organisation confirms it before it counts. You are responsible for checking AI output before you rely on it or share it as your own.
7. Free use, pricing and pilots
Creating an account and running an assessment are free today. Prices for paid tiers are shown on the pricing page for information; we are not yet taking payment through the site, and paid engagements and assurance-pilot engagements run under a separate written agreement that takes precedence over these terms where the two differ. When online billing starts, payment terms will be published here first.
8. Availability and change
KlaritiQ is early. We ship changes often, sometimes daily, and we may add, alter or retire features without notice while we are pre-launch. We aim to keep the service available but do not promise any uptime level yet. If we ever decide to shut the service down, account holders get at least 30 days' notice and the export tools stay on until the end.
9. Ending things
You can stop at any time: delete individual assessments at once, or delete your account or organisation, which locks it immediately and erases it after 30 days. Retention & deletion lists exactly what is erased and what, if anything, survives. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it; if that happens we will tell you why unless we are not allowed to.
10. What we don't promise, and the limit on what we owe
The service is provided as it is and as it is available. To the extent Indian law allows, we make no warranty that it is error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, lost profits, lost data you could have exported, or regulatory penalties. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for everything arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period or, if you paid nothing, to ₹10,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Talk to us first: most problems can be fixed by email. If we cannot resolve something, the courts at Hyderabad have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
The date at the top changes when the text does. For changes that reduce your rights or add obligations, account holders get an email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
